'Purple Highways' on December 6th
By purchasing this track you will be supporting Third Place Transition House as all proceeds will be donated this non profit. Thanks for those who are able to contribute.
December 6th, the national day of remembrance and activism to end violence against women falls within the 16 days of activism against gender based violence, an annual International campaign from November 25th to December 10th.
Women, girls, 2SLGTQQIA+ and gender diverse people face unacceptable violence and discrimination. In Canada but Nova Scotia specifically, domestic violence has been magnified since the pandemic began. Reported cases of domestic violence increased by 14.3% in Nova Scotia in 2019, which is why the proceeds from this track will be donated to Third Place Transition House in Truro, a non profit that helps women and children fleeing abuse and violence.
