ELEPHANT HEART is a project featuring Canadian guitarist Sam Wilson and former SF Bay Area now residing Maine saxophonist Phillip Greenlief. The unit veers steadily through shifting currents of composition and improvisation that enable elastic and concrete forms. These two composers' work are complementary, showcasing the vast range of jazz while expressing deeply individual voices that are urgent and engaging.
